Divinity Original Sin 2 Best Civil Abilitiescollectiveshara

AbilitiescollectivesharaCivil

I'm looking for a good party build for D:OS2 looking for maximal story & fun. So far, I've heard that in this sense, it is best to go for Fane as a main, Lohse as main companion and The Red Prince and Sebille as other companions.
Probably best to take Thievery, Persuasion and Pet Pall for Fane, right? If I want to explore as much as possible and have as much as dialogue as can be.
How would I build each character? I'm looking at these builds: https://fextralife.com/divinity-original-sin-2-builds-eternal-warrior-death-knight-perfected/ but unsure on which to select for which character. What is most fun for the main?
Any other tips for a first-timer wanting to get the maximal exploration/fun out of the game? I have played through D:OS1.

Which are the best and worst Civil Abilities? Is there one you almost always take level 1? Also wondering if Lucky Charm or Thievery is more useful level 1 because I'm torn. Is it worth it to take 1 point in Lucky Charm early or should I put it in Thievery so I can get it to 5 ASAP? (I like to do this to rob vendors, I know a lot of people do).
